THERE ARE NO LIMITS ON ALLAH'S ABILITIES
It has always been my philosophy that in order to live life fully,
and get the guidance for my path of inner peace, I had to fully accept there are no limits on Allah’s ability to interact in my life. Quran
often reminds me, throughout its pages of chapters (surahs) and verses (ayyat), Allah
clearly invest human beings with free will and its guidance to your
earthly life's ultimate outcome. Each member of the book is expected to
fully participate in this decision-making process. No matter how
error prone one's life may have been, or may come in the future, each
experience adds to Allah's blessings and mercy for you.
Following the path to greater inner peace requires you to take
personal
responsibility as you face each difficulty. It is incumbent upon
Muslims to face their problems with their faith focused on Allah’s ability to
provide the appropriate guidance, with the insight to overcome your
circumstances; or, to find patience, comfort, and resolve leading to greater inner
peace within yourself.
Recognizing Allah's message is timeless, such guidance comes through reading Quran, and is not bound to
only one, immutable understanding from human history. Though
we may find additional guidance through reviewing recorded examples of
Prophet
Mohammad's Sunnah, it still remains most important to follow Allah's Quranic message first, as applied to the human condition of modern times. Though many circumstances of today are more complex and requires thorough review of the traditions, ultimately our answers must be adaptable to modern times. The alternative is to live lives based on the rituals and rites of the dead.
Each
person chooses between following Allah’s
guidance, following the practices of the nascent Muslim community of 1500 years
ago, or review the Quranic texts and seek a contemporary response to
your life today. Muslims are not bound to culture, customs or taqlid, when we can turn to Allah's message in Quran.
