Imam Daayiee has over ten years experience in performing traditional
Islamic marriages for those who do not fit the traditional marriage formulations.
Whether you seek a traditional ceremony between a Muslim couple who want a progressive Imam to perform their ceremony; or a couple that seeks an intra-faith marriage between Muslims of differing madhhabs (schools of thought); or an interfaith marriage between a Muslim woman and a non-Muslim man; or a samesex couple with intrafaith or interfaith partners, Imam Daayiee is the right one for you.
Imam Daayiee provides a one-session marriage ceremony consultation for a modest fee. This is the opportunity to learn in detail what type of marriage ceremony that would work best for you. If you decide to have Imam Daayiee perform your ceremony, the consultation fee is deducted from the ceremony and/or premarital counseling fee(s).
Imam Daayiee also provides a three-session premarital counseling program to help answer questions or problems that may arise before your ceremony. For an additional fee, he can write your marriage contract, too.Of course, after the marriage ceremony, if the need arises, couples counseling is also available.

A. Ceremonies performed inside the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
BASE RATE: Telephone Conference - $750
Videoconferencing - $750
Ceremony Attendance - $1,000 B. Ceremonies performed outside in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.
BASE RATE: Ceremony Attendance: $1,500 to $2,500 per day plus travel costs.
C. Premarital Counseling and Marriage Contracts, (3 sessions included).

Train or Plane Fares: Traveling outside of the Washington, DC Metro area would require train or plane fares, plus any expenses associated without an overnight stay, e.g., taxi, plus a $150 a day per diem. If travel outside of the Washington, DC Metro area requires an overnight or several day commitment, train or plane fares, hotel accommodations for the length of time required, per diems and any other transportation costs are included. Security deposits are required.
SECURITY DEPOSITS: Arrangement are not considered final until a contract is signed, a security deposit is received, and if applicable, travel fees paid or confirmed.

services, it is important for each client to recognize from time to time such
modern technology fails. In some instances, telephone companies may drop calls,
emails are not received, Internet provider systems breakdown, Skype, AOL
Messenger, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger, may not be available due
to causes outside the control of your counselor, and may delay a scheduled
appointment. If such an event occur, your counselor is happy to discuss
with you alternative arrangements to reschedule your appointment in order to
meet your needs.
